Hello/good evening/good night everyone.

It's been several days since the HopDrop demo was released (if you haven't played it yet, go ahead, the link will always be attached to future devlogs). It seems interesting to me to draw up my planning for the future, while player feedback is coming back, allowing more technical details to be corrected.

I will try to do a devlog per week (there should not be a fixed day, but there is a better chance that they will come out on weekends). There will be several categories:

  • Graphic design (by extension, level design).
  • Replacement of some Fairies, whose placements are really (too?) obvious.
  • Interactions (enemies, NPCs).
  • The improvement of the cutscenes, which as a reminder, have a preponderant place in HopDrop.
  • More technical details, such as support for controllers or the addition of a new language.

I'm not saying anything about the shape yet, but its devlogs will be illustrated as much as possible, some will also be accompanied by video (the first should appear at the end of October, the second in mid-December). And like the current devlog that you are reading, they will for the moment be bilingual (English and French), to be seen to do trilingual devlogs in the future more distant than what I have already foreseen. They will also be retweeted, so please follow me on Twitter to stay informed.

Eventually, what was presented in the devlogs will be used to make a new demo, integrating the 6 worlds already present, with all the improvements mentioned in the future devlogs.
