Hi.

After conclusive tests with new controllers (Xbox, PlayStation 4 and Switch pro), I finally decided to release a new intermediate demo between the already available v0.6.0 and the v0.6.1 that I have been planning for a while. Thus, the new demo entitled v0.6.1 despite everything, will be released on Saturday June 26, 2021. This demo will therefore include:

• Support for Xbox, PlayStation and Switch Pro controllers (commands are attached to this devlog).
• The choice between the AZERTY and QWERTY layout will be available regardless of your language (until then, the AZERTY controls were exclusive to French, and the QWERTY controls to English).
• The movement of the balloon flight.
• Bug fixes.
• A revamped and temporary game loading menu, a rather annoying bug was found in the current one.
• Full compatibility with game saves from v0.6.0 .

Here is the content to appear in v0.6.1, but that does not mean that I am giving up a more complete v0.6.2 demo. So everything that is announced in this devlog and this one, will be available for your little hands later. The reasons for this change in strategy are as follows:

• Revive interest for HopDrop.
• Have something to offer, the publication of version v0.6.0 of HopDrop dates from September 12, 2020... While The Myths of Lightis was entitled to an update only 1 month after its launch.
• As the backups of v0.6.0 will be compatible with v0.6.1 anyway, you might as well take advantage of it.
• The work on some aspects of the game is taking longer than expected... For example, I plan to improve the cutscenes.
• It makes me happy.
